Godin Pre-Multiac – 1990s – Onyx Black

These rare guitars are renowned for being the predecessor to what would become the Multiac Model by Godin. Made in Canada, Godin has built a strong reputation for quality, playability, and innovation, and this guitar showcases all of that. Finished in Onyx Black, it is a visually striking instrument that combines classical design elements with modern performance capabilities.

Key Features:

  • Fingerboard & Bridge: Rosewood fretboard, rosewood bridge with integrated piezo under the saddle.

  • Electronics & Preamp: Piezo pickup, onboard EQ controls, preamp powered by two 9V batteries. All electronics fully functional.

  • Tone Enhancements: Internal metal “tone tines” for additional resonance and richness.

  • Playability: Action more generous than a traditional classical, excellent upper fret access, comfortable for both fingerstyle and electric-acoustic performance.

Condition:

  • Great overall condition for a 1990s instrument.

  • Frets in great shape with plenty of life remaining.

  • Minor pickwear on the face of the guitar, various dimples on the body, minor bucklerash on the back.
