Vestax Handy Trax – Portable Turntable
Description
Vestax Handy Trax – Portable Turntable
A cult classic among crate diggers and vinyl heads, the Vestax Handy Trax is one of the most beloved portable turntables ever made. Originally released in the early 2000s, the Handy Trax became essential for DJs, collectors, and lo-fi samplers thanks to its rugged build, reliable tracking, and totally portable design.
Powered by batteries or an included adapter, the Handy Trax plays 33, 45, and 78 RPM records and features pitch control, built-in speaker, and a headphone output for private listening. The tonearm includes an adjustable stylus weight and tracking force—making it far more reliable than other portables in its class.
It also features a phono/line output switch, letting you connect directly to powered speakers or sampling gear without a separate preamp. Designed with field work in mind, the body includes a carry handle, dust cover, and slipmat—making it a grab-and-go solution for serious vinyl exploration.
