The Breeders

Formed in 1989 by Kim Deal (of Pixies) and Tanya Donelly, The Breeders quickly carved a space in alternative rock with their edgy, bass-driven sound. Their 1993 album Last Splash, featuring the hit “Cannonball,” remains their hallmark. Known for playful lyrics, layered guitars, and indie-pop riffs, they later reunited sporadically for tours and releases.
